Nethertheless it maybe would upvalue your (yet very nice) theme to add a blog template the user can select if creating a new page :)

You can add a category link to the menu for the "blog" category you have created.

To exclude that category from the home page, try using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/simply-exclude/

Hi,
i want to show the latest blog entries on a custom page called "Blog" and not on the home/index page. What can I do to get this running? Could you provide me a php file with the necessary code so i can select something like "Blog Template"? I know the functionally is in your theme because it is possible to select that the x latest entries shall be displayed on the welcome page but i dont know where (at least i can’t find it out). So it shouldn’t be a big dealt to pack this code in a new template php file.
