			<description><p>Hi, Just to let you know that I research several plugins but none seemed to fit the bill that well.</p>
<p>so, I experimented by taking the code from the 'archives.php' template and adding it to 'Main Index Template' (index.php)</p>
<p>and it has worked a treat, could you foresee any future problems I might incur by doing this?</p>

<p>Oddly WordPress does not provide the option to display a specific category listing as the home page. While this is a WordPress limitation, it's possible there is a plugin that adds this functionality. I would recommend doing a search on your "add new plugins" page.</p>
