Hi there,

The theme does pull content, but WordPress doesn't have a method for the theme to know what plugins you have installed and what JavaScript functions need to be called via AJAX for said plugins.

For example, if the plugin you're using has a JavaScript function called myPluginDoesStuff(), there's no way for the theme to know that plugin exists and that it needs to run that function after each AJAX call.

Hope that explains better how this isn't a theme issue. It's really a combination of issues with WordPress and AJAX.

Best,

Chris

Chris,

Thank you for your prompt response.

While I'm familiar with Ajax, I would think it would be the theme's responsibility to pull all of the content and display it correctly. I will check with my plugin provider, but I'm afraid they're going to point the finger at the theme, which will render this theme useless to me.

Regards,

Tyler

Hi there,

Most plugin-related issues users will experience with this particular theme are related to its use of AJAX as that is a very advanced feature that is difficult for plugin developers to account for (especially since AJAX isn't employed the same way every time it's used).

The reason it's working on the first page you linked to is because AJAX isn't being used to load content. AJAX is used on the home page, however, which this plugin doesn't seem to like.

Since the problem lies with the plugin, unfortunately this isn't something I have the bandwidth to troubleshoot since I have no developer knowledge of the plugin.

I hope that makes sense.

Best,

Chris

I've created a page - http://www.12kpost.com/purchase/ - that when you go to that page it shows the purchase buttons and content that I've entered using a shortcode from a plugin. When I add that page to the main menu, the content is no longer available - http://www.12kpost.com/?menu=sign-up

Can you provide some insight into why the content shows on one page and not the other?

Thanks!
