Chris, I am having trouble understanding. I now have the site currently set to "Your latest posts" and the slider is working fine on the home page. However, I cannot replicate this from the Chemeleon demo. Instead, the slider appears where I want the articles to appear. How do I replicate the demo? I apologize for such simplistic question, I'm normally diving into the code breaking things, not trying to figure out basic set up.

I noticed the link includes /category/blog/. Do I need to create a category with the name of the page that I've selected in order for the articles to show up there?

Again, you do not need to specify ANYTHING for the home page. Just leave it at "Your latest posts".

Changed things up and I'm almost there:

Front page display is set to static page, and "- Select -" is selected. This leaves the home page intact (except that I had the home page on black and the rest of the site on white, and this change has reverted to white. I'll look through the code first to see if I can correct this before reposting on this).

Post page is set to "Page XYZ" and the slider appears at Page XYZ instead of any blog posts... Help!

EDIT: I also disabled all plugins to see if any of them were interfering and problem remained.

EDIT2: My avatar was randomly selected by the forum software and in no way is a reflection of my current or typical state of being. In fact, it's quite the opposite! LOL

You do not need to specify anything for the home page. By default the theme displays the slider on the home page.

In order to have the slider on the homepage, I need to select "Front Page displays > Your Latest Posts". However, I also want to have blog functionality and display regular ol' blog posts (not the slider) on another page. But I'm just not seeing where to identify that. Even though the above is set, I also selected my desired page to where I want toe blog posts to appear with no luck.

You're own site demo shows those as separate, but I couldn't any reference in the documentation and three searches in the forums didn't turn anything up. I'll keep searching for now. Thanks Chris
