Sorry, I don't quite understand why the featured image would be showing up twice. Can you provide more information?

Also, the order of the images are in your control. To change the order, make sure you select "view images uploaded to post" in the select box of the add media pop-up window and click/drag the images in the position you want: http://themolitor.com/help/kitchen/images/change_order.png

Now I have another question: is it possible to add a script so that the featured image is added (as first) to the slider of the post ? (because if I add this featured image by uploading it and adding it to the slider, then this featured image would appear two times in the slider of the timeline).

Hi there,

To have images appear in the content of your post, but not in the slider, simply upload the images from the media page (not the post edit page). This way the images don't get attached to the post/page. You can then use the "add media" button and locate the image in your media library.

thanks! It works well, I'm able to include/delete and reorganize images in the slider of the and in the popUp slider by including images from my computer with inserting the images.

BUT I wish also to include images (not displayed in a gallery) in the page of the post, but I don't want them to appear in the slider of the page, nor in the slider of the PopUp in the timeline.
Here is my problem. When I create my post, I create my slider and PopUp, and then I add other (and some that are the same as the one in the slider) images in the page of the post. This one appear well in the page of the post, But they are also added to the slider ....

Do you have an idea how to manage this issue ?

Hi there,

1. Yes, you can still do all that. To add images, simply upload them to the post. To remove images, just delete the actual image from your media library. To change the order, make sure you select "view images uploaded to post" in the select box of the add media pop-up window and click/drag the images in the position you want.

2. No, the gallery system has been updated since I did my video, but the features are still there.

NOTE: you do not need to insert the images into the post. Just upload them to have them appear in the slider area.

Sorry, still me.
To have an example of my problems with the images, is that in the "pop up" in the timeline and for the images displayed in the page of the post, the order in set up as I wish when I upload the images for the post.
But in the slider on the top of the page of the post, the order is set up in an alphabetic order of the title of the image...

Do you have an issue about this ?

I have "some" questions about the set up and the possibilities to include images in the slider of the post.

First of all, on my dashboard the configuration of my post creation page when I click to "add media" is different from yours that is shown in your post-creation video. Please have a look on the Screen Shot I did (I will send them by email).

What happened when I had pictures so that they appear in the slider, is that in the page of the post, they also appear below the slider, in the text space. That is not so a big problem, because I can remove them so that they only appear in the slider.

So I have 2 questions :

1. Is it possible to change the images (add or remove some, change the order) of the slider once it is created ? If so, how ?
2. Should I do an update of the theme in order to have the same configuration as you ?
