It might be the default option. When creating a gallery, before inserting into the post, review the gallery options on the right-hand side of the pop-up window.

I need to have the prettyphoto js system for my gallery but it opens me a new page for the image when i create a gallery. And i didnt chose "attached" in the menu ^^

That isn't controlled by the theme, so nothing changed it to link to attachments. I was referring to wp.org because they have extensive information (more than I can provide) about using the built-in WordPress gallery system.

In order to achieve the layout you have in your demo, I have to add two attributes to the Gallery Shortcode (and rebuild my thumbnails).
That was built in your demo.xml file? It's not very kind to refer to wp.org when we are talking about the configuration that theme need to be shown as is expected.

As I mentioned above, you need your gallery to link to the image file, not the attachment. Your gallery images are linking to the attachment page. This is controlled in the WordPress gallery system. If you need more info, please refer to WordPress support.

PrettyPhoto automatically loads when you click a link with ".jpg",".gif" or ".png" on the end of it.

Make sure your gallery links to the image files and not to the file attachments.

If you provide a link to your gallery page I'll take a closer look.
