The date is based on the publish date feature of WordPress for that particular post.

For the demo site, I created a post, added necessary content and then before publishing, I changed the year to 1474 (for example) and hit publish.

The date is 100% controlled via WordPress. The theme is just grabbing the publish date of the post and displaying that in the appropriate places. The theme is not generating the date information.

If you're unable to control the date like that, it's either a WordPress limitation, which is likely based on your server/hosting configuration. Regarding what to ask your provider, I'm not quite sure as I haven't experienced this issue myself.

It's possible this is an issue based on the version of PHP you're using, but I'm not entirely sure.

Please clarify the following.

Is this time-line date is capturing from system date or we can change it somewhere in the theme settings or provided PHP files?

You are displaying the year from 14th Century in your demo site, could you please explain the steps that you have followed to customize this?

We have tried both in local and as well in online domain, still we are facing the same issue.
If we have to discuss hosting provider, please let us know what we should ask with him?

Right, I'm certain this is related to your particular server configuration. Now that you have it on a live domain, you can give your hosting provider a call and see if they have any insight.

Unfortunately I'm not able to troubleshoot issues outside of the control of the theme. I hope you understand.

now i tried that its not working and also not only your theme problems. its wordpress admin problem . i tried another theme also.

Unfortunately that isn't something I can troubleshoot as I'm not familiar with your testing environment/configuration and there isn't anything in the theme preventing this from working.

My best suggestion is to throw this on a live domain and see if the issue persists.

This sounds like a limitation created by your hosting provider. Nothing in the theme is preventing the date you assign -- as you can see, the demo has posts using dates in the 1400s. Try contacting your hosting provider and see if they have any insight on how to address that.

i unable to set the timeline year below 1899 years in admin. if i set year below 1899 its updates a current year
