That's the limit of the built-in WordPress search feature. You can try a plugin to extend functionality. Search Everything is really popular: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-everything/

Thanks very much Chris. Whilst on search, I notice only categories are indexing. I cannot for example get search results from metadata, tags or anything other than the category. Is this also a user configurable setting? Thank you.

You can change this value from the "Reading" settings page in your WordPress dashboard.

Is there a way to increase the limit of search results? ATM it is limited to 10. Thanks
