Hi there,

I made a decision to remove that feature mainly because it removes the requirement for a fixed height in that space. This let's us do a few things: (1) lets users have titles and excerpts as long as they want without content getting cut off, (2) let's users have as many items displayed as they want, and (3) enables better responsiveness in the space.

Another reason I decided to remove it was due to user experience. Over time I felt it was a frivolous effect that seems more distracting than engaging.

Hope that helps explain my reasoning. Of course I'm fully open to feedback.

Best,

Chris

Hi there. Thanks for all the assistance you provide us. What happened to the fancy scroll effect that occurred on the front page when a person clicked on an article on the right and it scrolled upwards on the left hand side under categories? Now it just fades in and out. It's not a huge concern but it did add a modern bit of sophistication to my site.
