Hey guys,

I was just having the exact same problem with my site and was just about to post here when I figured out how to fix it. For me I was experiencing the exact same things, reversed order on all events pages, slider and the filters on the calender not highlighting things.

I fixed it all by making sure I had one word (or dashed) titles, the slugname matched the title, and finally (and mainly I think) that not only were posts part of the child catergory but also TICKING THE PARENTS ("Events") CATERGORY.

So happy it finally works as my site was terrible in reverse!

Hope this might help some people,

Felix.

@kevinrwu: I imagive this fix is for the calendar filters correct?

@Chris: I disabled every plugin (except Optiontree) and this did not fix the order.

the filter tool cannot handle 2-word terms. you have a category called "ft. lauderdale" i changed my category from "all events" to "all" and my problems were fixed. give that a shot.

Can you confirm you don't have any additional plugins installed? - not including OptionTree.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Everything works fine in the sub-category 'All', but not in the main category 'Events': http://www.comecrawl.com/category/events/

I attach screenshots of my category configuration for you to better advice me.

Hi there,

It appears everything is working fine on this page: http://www.comecrawl.com/category/events/all

My best recommendation is to double-check how you have your categories setup and configured.

Thanks!

My events category is displaying the furthest event first and the most recently upcoming event last. How can I make the most recent event first and the furthest last?

I DO have the 'Events' category selected in the Theme Options as the parent event category.
