Hey there, I cannot provide exact code, but I can tell you that this is possible via CSS. Go to Appearance > Editor and the Stylesheet should open by default. Next you're going to look for #headerContainer { to increase the size of the header. Following that you'll need to adjust the other elements within the header.

That should at least get you moving in the right direction. Good luck with your customization. Please save a fresh Style.css file before editing in case you need to revert back.

I have not published yet, but I am trying to accommodate a slightly taller logo in the space provided - help directions give a limit of 35 px, and it is making my logo too small. Can I edit this space to allow for a bigger logo and if so, where is the best place to do this?

I have the style css file open and found this line pertaining to header:
a#logo {margin-top: 18px; float: left; display: block;}
Not certain if this will allow for increasing vertical space and I don't want to mess with the balance of the page too much, as I like the design.

Please advise.

P.S. I'm brand new to using Word Press so the more detail and instruction as to how to get the results the better, for example, where do I edit the css page within WP if that's an option?
