Hi there,

Users posting to the calendar are able to provide the duration of the event, which is meant to communicate how long the event will take place (i.e. 2 hours, days, weeks, etc.).

If you want to explore other options, please feel free to submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Best,

Thanks, but I really wish there was a more elegant way...and what about people posting to the calendar....they still can't do this themselves...is this at all fixable even if you pay?

Hi there,

As with the other events, you need to edit the publish date of the duplicate posts to control the event date.

Best,

"Hi there,

While using the built-in dating system provided by WordPress has lots of benefits, it does have certain limitations based on what the WordPress dating system is capable of doing.

Currently, the WordPress dating system doesn't have a method for repeating posts over a series of dates. To explore a custom solution for this feature, please feel free to submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/custom

I hope you understand.

Thanks!

Chris"

Is there a chance that you could add this feature to the theme for all of us, instead of requesting we send in a customization request? This is a pretty significant feature to be lacking, honestly.

Hi there,

You can try that plugin or you can create a post for each day of the event (maybe there is something unique about each day that you can mention in each post?). As I've mentioned above, the WordPress dating system doesn't support posts to have more than 1 date associated with it.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi, just purchased this theme and think its great, very clean. I was going to start a thread but then found this one that is similar. I basically need to post events that are 2 day events....is the only way to do this by using the duplicate post plug in above?

I also require this, but would like to set up an event and repeat it every Wednesday. If I wanted to do this for a year i'd have to duplicate and edit 52 posts, is there a way of setting something up so this will repeat automatically as I have a number like this ie i'm also doing an even the last Thursday of a month.

Thanks,
