I tried turning off comments sitewide and on particular pages with no luck.

"Leave a Reply" still remains.

Is there a php edit I can do to remove this section from each page?

2. The content below the title is controlled from the excerpt field. If you don't see the excerpt field on your edit page, you can turn it on like this: http://s27.postimg.org/wvbmz5xep/excerpt.jpg

Is there a way to remove "Leave a Reply" from each page?

Also, the content on the home page show up below the menus and not next to them like in the site sample. Can I move this content?
