Make sure you're entering the key name "month" for the month and key name "day" for the day.

It isn't working:( I created a new post from scratch with the custom fields and the date is still the date posted. Any ideas?

Nope, it's already in there. The custom fields are all you need to enter.

Thanks, I found that. Once I have the custom fields added, do I need to add a template tag? Could you tell me how to do that?

If you read the help file, you'll see instructions on how you can customize the date for event-related posts ;-)

First, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the website that I was able to make from your template!!! (www.nyresurrection.com) Question: I am posting future events in the "happenings" post in a "Church Theme" website. Is there a way to remove the date that comes up in the heading of the post? It is confusing since it is a future event and the date represents the date posted. THANK YOU!!!!!
