Hey Chris, as I mentioned in my post above I did try it as postid and post-id- as well and still not working. It currently is set back to postid and not working.

Don't forget capitalization matters in CSS. Try using "postid" above instead of "postID".

Hey Chris, thanks for all your help and patience so far...I tried doing your suggestion and it is still not working; what am I doing wrong? (I've also tried postid-609; post-id-609 as well with no luck)

body.postID-609 .continueOn {display: none !important;}

body.postID-606 .continueOn {display: none !important;}

body.postID-596 .continueOn {display: none !important;}

body.postID-417 .continueOn {display: none !important;}

body.postID-407 .continueOn {display: none !important;}

Unfortunately the only way to target specific posts like that is via my last suggestion posted above.

no, I'd like it to do with the category news and have all the posts under news not have the graphic intro,

for example if you go here: http://carriecutforth.com/category/news/ -- it gives a list of all posts under that category

but clicking each one takes you to http://carriecutforth.com/web-series-storytelling-2-0/ <--the photo opening and then text, and i'd like it just to go straight to the text

I can target specific ones, but there is a lot of them, and plan to do more, so if there is a shortcut that is great

am I making sense?

Hi there,

All category pages are "post categories". Are you wanting to target specific posts? If so, you can do that like this...

body.postid-XXXX .continueOn {display: none !important;}

Replace XXXX with the post id.

Best,

I visited your site and don't see any category pages with ID 15. Please double-check the ID for the category you're trying to target.

Hey Chris, it doesn't seem to work. I've tried both category id "15" and the slug "news". What am I doing wrong? It did work by the way when I did the page option before.

body.category-15 .continueOn {display: none !important;}

Hi there,

Yes, you can target category pages by adding the following to the Custom CSS box on the Customize page (appearance > customize)...

body.category-projects .continueOn {display: none !important;}

You can change "projects" to either the category name or the category id (
body.category-4
).

Hope that helps.

Best,

Hi Ive created a page a success page for contact form 7 to track google ad conversions. Its just a page that says thank you once the user has submitted the contact form. I dont want the continue graphic to appear on this page because there is nothing to continue on to, is it possible to hide it just on this page?
Thanks
Dave
