Hi there,

Just to clarify, the slider has its own separate opacity setting in style.css. The opacity setting in the theme options only applies to the top section, so adjusting that will also adjust the opacity for the top section of the video post page.

If you only want to apply a specific opacity for the post pages, you can add the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

body.single #topPanel {background: rgba(0,0,0,.8);}

You can change .8 to a value you prefer.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris, when you scroll down from the welcome page the background image has a high opacity but when you press continue it doesn't have any opacity and becomes too distracting, can I reduce the opacity of the background image on the video page? I just watched your walk through on youtube and it looks fine on there. Here's a link to my site so you can see what I mean. Cheers Dave

...also, don't forget you can control the opacity of the background. If you feel the background images are too distracting, just increase the opacity so that they are harder to see.

Best,

Hi there,

I received your request, but as I read it again, I had an idea that might help.

As I mentioned in my reply, one solution is to simply upload a small black (or other color) image to fill the background. The theme will expand the image, so it can be very small if it's a solid color.

Best,

Chris

Hi there,

To justify the text, add this to your Custom CSS box...

#welcome h1 {text-align: justify;}

Regarding background images, if it was something I knew off the top of my head I would gladly help, but if it requires a bit of research, testing or custom code then I have to refer you to the customization request form: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hope you understand.

Thanks!

Hi, is it possible to remove the background image for just the page the video is embedded on within the slider? Would prefer a blank screen. Also on the opening screen when you add text, is it possible for this to be justified so it looks neater?

Many Thanks
Dave
