Hi there,

The edits above only apply to the front page. Are you still seeing the date on the front page? If so, make sure you don't have a caching plugin active and try deleting your cache and browsing history.

If you want to remove the date on a category page, do the same edits in the archive.php template file.

Hi,

I made the described change to index.php and nothing happened. Still have the post year showing up next to the image title.

"Jane Smith - 1899" when I'd like to just see "Jane Smith".

Any other things I need to change. I adjusted line 47 of index.php to remove "- <?php the_time('Y'); ?>" quotes are mine obviously.

How can I remove the date / year from the PrettyPhoto / lightbox description / image title?

e.g IMAGE TITLE - 2012 ( remove "- 2012" )
