I did as you suggested and it has indeed made the gallery page the landing page however when click on the dropdown menu on the right the demo from page comes up. In Appearance/front page display is set to static and front page to gallery. In the page itself the Page attributes settings are no parent and gallery. Please advise.

Hi there,

You can display a gallery page as your home page by doing the following...

1. Navigate to the Customize page and click the "static front page" tab.

2. Make sure "Front page displays" is set to "A static page".

3. For the "Front page" setting, select the gallery page in the drop down menu. If you don't see a gallery page option, you'll need to create the page first. For more info about creating a gallery page, please review the help file here: http://themolitor.com/help/vysual/#galleryPage

I want the landing page to be the gallery of still pictures and not the video, how do I set it to this?
