Open up "style.css" and change the following on line 109 from this...

#featured {padding-bottom: 25px; *padding-bottom:0;}

...to this...

#featured {display:none;}

I'd like to know how to remove it as well. Its taking up space on my main page and we no longer want to use it. There isn't anything in the CSS code that looks like the slider... help??
