Me again. In addition to removing the posted by, date, and category line on my two home page posts, I'd also like the home page to appear like a two-page spread in a book. Here's the home page:

On the left page of the spread, I'd like to keep the headline, lose the "posted by" line, keep the copy, and lose the "continue reading" line at the bottom.

On the right page of the spread, I'd like to eliminate the "posted by" line and add a link to the last line of the copy. I've tried adding a link, but it won't show up on the home page. I'd also like to get rid of that "continue reading" line.

If that's not enough, how do I replace that logo.png file that says "The Novelist" with my own version of the logo.png file?

Hi there,

You'll need to open up the single.php file, then find the following:

<div class="postInfo">Posted by <?php the_author();?> on <?php the_time('M jS, Y') ?> in <?php the_category(', '); ?></div>

Remove <?php the_time('M jS, Y') ?> and that'll take out the date. If need be, you can remove the entire section of code above and it'll remove the "Posted by" information altogether.

Make sure to backup your file first, as I haven't tested this in full. Should be good to go though!
