I took a look at your source code and see that the greater than symbol (>) in the markup I provided above is being converted to the HTML character code.

Maybe try this instead...

body.home .post small,
.metaStuff {
    display: none;
}

That actually didn't do anything :(

I've checked to make sure I didn't add any rogue spaces etc, and all is as you have posted.

Any ideas? You can check the page - I've left that CSS active in case that helps to troubleshoot.

Hi there,

Are you referring to the dates in the featured post slider area on the right? If so, try adding the following to your Custom CSS box...

.block small {
    display: none !important;
}

Hi Chris,

On my client's (now live) website, they have asked if it's possible to remove the date from the Latest News widget in the top right of the page. They use this for specific announcements and are concerned that the post date is going to confuse people.

Is there a way to remove the date within the template? If you can point me in the right direction that would be great (and please let me know if there are any repercussions with doing this in case it impacts other areas of the site).
