Sorry, I misunderstood your request. You'll need to edit the "header_tile.png" image (remove the top black section) and adjust the height of the #header div accordingly.

Removing the topBar div in header.php still leaves the area there, it just removes the date and search form. Is there also a section of the css that I need to change/remove?

Open up "header.php" and remove the "topBar" div ;-)

Would someone mind posting the steps to remove the date and search from the header and then move the entire page up?
