The user settings/capabilities is a WordPress feature, not something the theme has anything to do with. That said, you can get full details of all the user roles/capabilities here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities

Hi Chris,

I just tested my site's guest registration and login capabilities to understand how they work. I gained access quite alright through login/register links but noticed that even as a "Contributor" or "Author" (not an Administrator) I could see the following important parts of the site:

1. Dashboard showing entire site at a glance, activity and full stats,
2. Post page showing all site posts,
3. Media library showing all site images,
4. Comments page showing all comments on posts by other authors,
5. Contact form 7 page showing all site forms,

I thought guest registration and login should only give limited access to individual guest's profile section and not to entire site?

Any ideas on how I can fix this please?
