I guess I shouldn't have used the word Column.

What I meant is making the image float to the left of the list of the checklists.

For columns, you can try something like the following in your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

.checklist {
-webkit-column-count:2;
-moz-column-count:2;
column-count:2;
}

Since the checklist is controlled from the post content, displaying it in other areas of the site layout will require extensive edits to the theme. For requests like that, please use this form: http://themolitor.com/customization-request
