the category will not be recognized by the portfolio template as soon as i rename a category title, not the slug.

I have a page using the portfolio template and a category slug "indoor" with 2 posts. but the page is pulling all posts, ignoring the category.
If i give it another slug like "drawings" it works. what could be wrong?

If i open the category all is fine:

My permalink is "/%postname%/".

I found that the problem arises once i start renaming categories.
