Hi there,

Just to clarify, you removed header scripts and responsive.css? If so, that is definitely why you're having issues. Responsive.css is what controls the layout of the theme for mobile devices.

Thanks for the suggestion. Updating the theme seems to have solved the Firefox 49 issue. Hooray!

But the OSX issue remains in the latest iterations of Safari. The homepage (grantrice dot us) loads perfectly in an old version of Safari (7.0.6) on my laptop. But when I try a current version on the latest iPhone or iPad, it either radically zooms the homepage image (and all the other "top panel" images) and/or default back to "responsive" mode (odd, because I have removed the header script and responsive.css). Strangely enough, the website works perfectly with all other browsers and phones I have tested. The issue only affects the most recent iterations of Apple Safari.

Any ideas?

Are you using the latest version of the theme now? If not, that's definitely your first step. If you still have trouble after updating, please post a link to your site and I'll check it out.

Greetings! I am a big fan of your Producer theme, which I have customized to get around problems that have arisen over the years thanks to feedback in this forum. I have removed the "responsive" function to get around some poor aesthetics, and the website currently works perfectly well in most desktop and mobile browsers.

But now, even though I no longer use the "responsive" feature of the theme, the home page is not loading right with the latest version of Apple Safari (mobile & desktop) and also Firefox 49 (desktop). With the former, the homepage loads right, but the scaling is screwed up, so viewers see just a small part of the image zoomed way in. With the latter, the background image does not load at all, freezing on the loader icon (it works fine if I go back to Firefox 48).

Any ideas what these problems could be?
