Hi there,

Regarding the map centering on France, as mentioned in this FAQ: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/faq-home-page-map-issue -- if your home page centers on France (i.e. the middle of the map), this means you have posts on your map without proper map data (i.e. might contain errors).

Regarding the gray background, you need to add a background image for that page you created. Maps are not supported for pages like that. This theme has a built-in home page that shows the map of all posts. If you want to use that, you need to remove the static home page option you selected on the "reading" settings page.

O by the way, sometimes when I'm lucky I do actually get the map of South Africa, but it's random. Mostly I get France.... :(

Chris please help me, I am at wits end here. I want to show a map of South Africa with hotspots of places to visit (i.e. Cape Town), but my map does not show up on my Home page (grey only). When I click my Destinations menu item I get the map of France. I've read a lot of the previous topics and tried to do all that is suggested for example deleting non-map related posts, but the problem persists. I'm obviously missing something but I don't know what. Here is a link to the website http://www.yafricatravel.com/ (please note it is still under construction!). Thanks.
