Hi there,

That's very surprising it doesn't support custom fields. I mean, that's a core WordPress feature. Lame :-/

Thanks for following up!

Best,

Chris

Nope. It only shows the standard options (tags, category, featured image). Not the custom fields.

Then this should be a persistent problem to any theme using custom fields so I'll head over to Wordpress forums to ask about the app there. I'll explain to the client he's either going to have to go with a very standard theme or post from laptop/desktop.

Thanks for the help.

Hi there,

Unfortunately I have zero knowledge/experience with the WordPress app, so I'm not sure what could be causing that to happen.

Does the mobile app display the custom fields (specifically the embedded content option) when creating a post? If not, that would likely be the issue.

Best,

Chris

Hi, first off, lovely theme

My client wants to be able to post on the go using Wordpress IOS app. Whenever we try we get this error:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'embed_content' in /wp-content/themes/curator/single.php on line 7

It only happens when posting from mobile Wordpress app (both IOS and Android), never when posting from desktop/laptop.
It's ok if it's not fixable, I just need to be able to explain to the client why it's not working from mobile. Is it a Wordpress app problem or not supported by the theme?
Thank you
