Hi,

It sounds as though you didn't select any pages for the Footer Navigation Menu to display, so, well, it doesn't. You select which pages you want on the Footer Navigation Menu the same way you select which pages you want on the Main Navigation Menu: Go to Appearance>>Menus and then select Footer Menu as the menu you will be managing. On the bottom-left-hand side of that screen is the box named Pages. Add the ones you want to the menu.

As for the widgets, did you have any code in the text widgets, or had you just moved the, er, ready-for-text widgets to the footer widget area? I wonder if that's the problem?

Ooops, I only just noticed that you posted this FOUR weeks ago. I bet you've worked this out long ago. Oh, well.

I believe I'm doing it right. I did exactly what symbion did:

1) FOOTER MENU - I have gone to Appearance >> Menus and created a Menu, named it "Footer Menu". I have gone to the Theme Locations area and at "Footer Navigation Menu" selected "Footer Menu" from the pull-down and clicked save.
The Footer Menu still does not show on the website. Please advise.
2) FOOTER WIDGETS - I have gone to Appearance >> Widgets and added four text widgets to my "Footer Widgets." I then went to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Footer Widgets and checked the "On" box; and clicked Save All Changes. The Footer Widgets/Buckets still do not show on the website. Please advise.

It's as if the theme isn't calling up the footer.php file at all.

Hi there,

This issue is typically caused from not setting up a footer menu properly. Have you followed the instructions in the help file for creating a footer menu?

I am having two problem with the footer - No footer menu shows and the 4 footer widgets don't show.

You need to create a menu for the footer on the "menus" page. There is a separate drop down for the footer menu area. Just select the menu you created for the footer and it will display like the demo.
