For the WordPress version, you need to upload the image from the post edit page.

Only the HTML version requires uploading content via FTP.

If I upload an image to wp-contents/upload via FileZilla, how do I get it to appear in the featured slider?

It has the same front-end functionality, but there is no back-end control like WordPress.

Does the HTML version have the same functionality as the WP version? Can I easily move from WP to HTML?

Unfortunately this isn't a theme-related issue but has to do with your server/hosting/WordPress install/browser settings etc.

Suddenly, about 2 weeks ago, I'm unable to upload image or pdf files. Never had problems before. Searched the WP codex for solution and said to disable all plugins, which I did, but still can't upload images. Tried both the flash and browser uploader. Browser uploader just sits there and the flash uploader gets "stuck" about 50% in or during crunching. I need to upload some images this week. Any suggestions???? Help!
