you can set the default height and width via prettyphotos api http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/documentation/ not sure if itll allow you to do it via the viewport youll have to ask on prettyphotos support for that.

the code located to change it is in the custom.js file located on line 54

Hi,
I"m using Photopharm theme for a project, but the client would like to use the PrettyPhoto for the galleries.
Is there a way to set the modal window to fit the maximum space in height, leaving just 20px at the top and at the bottom, relative to the viewport?
