You'll need to optimize your images to something smaller before uploading them. That's a huge and rather unnecessary size to upload. Try something closer to standard resolution: 1024 x 768

It is really slow when the screen resolution is high. I use 2560 x 1440.
I've used other Wordpress Themes and there was no issue.
Do you think you could do something about it?
