UPDATE: I actually finally got it to work. Last time I tried modifying the scripts.js file pretty photo broke, but this time I modified it again and uploaded through ftp and it seems to have worked.

If anyone else is having problems changing their prettyphoto theme just download your scripts.js file, go to the prettyphoto section and change pp_default to what you'd like. I only had to change one word. The changes I made in footer.php seem to be irrelevant as scripts.js overrides it.

The site is http://deepcrow.com . I'd think it would have changed by now if it was a cache, I was waiting to see if it would. I'm almost positive the footer.php file says 'dark_rounded' for theme.

I tried tinkering around in the scrips.js file to replace pp_default with dark_square but then pretty photo just didn't work at all so I changed it back.

@crow hmmm if you changing it then uploading it via FTP it "should" change, do you have any plugins installed? does your server have caching(ask your host) though it shouldn't by default... also can you post a link to your site

Thanks for the response, I don't know about permissions, so I went and manually changed the file by downloading it from FTP and reuploading it just to make sure. I also tried a few different browsers and hard refreshes to handle the possible caching issue. Still don't see anything.

Anything you have that could point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

do you have the proper permission set on the files or are you using a cache plugin? if its permissions it didn't actually save it, if its a cache plugin well its cached and will take a few

Hey mfeenstra, that sounded interesting so I went into the wordpress editor and changed that setting in "footer.php", I updated the file but upon a Ctrl+Refresh of the page I still see the same white lightboxes. Any idea why?

This is fairly simple.

Find your ...wp-content/themes/wpbm/footer.php file (you can edit this in your wordpress admin panel) and edit this line:

> theme: 'light_square', // light_rounded /light_rounded / dark_rounded / light_square /

Whatever you put in the ' ' will be your new theme. I may have edited my file, but 'default' and 'facebook' are also available.

You don't have control of PrettyPhoto itself, just the portfolio in general. Where did you see that you had PrettyPhoto control?

Excerpt On/Off
