Hi there,

1. What you want to do is create a page, add a title and excerpt and assign that page as a static home page on the Customize settings page (appearance > customize).

2. WordPress currently doesn't have a standard method for controlling header images on category pages. There might be a plugin that adds this functionality, though. If you want to explore customized solutions, please feel free to submit a request here: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Hi,

Just a slight issue, i am struggling to turn off posts on the home screen.

I would prefer the home screen to contain just the header and menus + sticky posts at the bottom. At the moment it seems to be showing all my latest posts.

is there a way to turn this off?

Second question, is there a way to have certain header images on slideshow on certain category screens?
