Chris, sorry for making unnecessary «noise» around a nice and healthy theme. And good support as well! Your recipe works perfect with the changes described. I have made a deal with Werkpress for making some minor changes. Considering my (lack of) knowledge in PHP – I think that is a vise decision! Keep up the good work!

Chris, the text I wrote above, was changed when it was published (some text turned into blue, some letters and signs were missing). I therefore removed it. The reason I think was that Dreamweaver is my default local editor for (stitchy)php-files :)

Hi Chris

I tried this - but no change:

<a>" class="nextPrevItem" style="background-image:url('<?php echo $postThumburl;?>');">
div><p><?php echo get_the_title($post_id); ?></p></div>
</a><!--end rightNextItem-->
<?php } //END WHILE

I have put the theme on a testsite at jhrprod.com if you want to take a look at the page(source)

Hi there,

In sticky-posts.php on line 77, you can remove the "Featured/Latest Item" text by changing the following from this...

<div><p><span><?php if( is_sticky() ) { _e('Featured','themolitor'); } else { echo _e('Latest','themolitor'); } echo ' '.$postCategory[0]->cat_name.' '; _e('Item','themolitor');?></span><?php echo get_the_title($post_id); ?></p></div>

...to this...

<div><p><?php echo get_the_title($post_id); ?></p></div>

Hope that helps! Please don't forget to rate the theme on your downloads page :-)

Hello there,

Got the same problem, I want to remove the 'Featured 'x' Item (in my case: Featured 'Duurzaam ondernemen' Item) on my sticky posts at the bottom of the pages, but want to keep the title of the post itself which is below the 'Featured Item' title: (in my case again Duurzaam ondernemen).
I know that you have indicated where the lines are that has to be changed, but can you please tell which ones exactly I have to remove, because I don't know what to look for in the first place (novice :-))

At the same time, really like the theme and having fun using it.
Good job!

Kind regards,
Angélique

Hi there,

Ah, I see the double listing in the .POT file. "Pages" is listed twice. I'll fix that and submit an update. Be sure to have notifications turned on in your ThemeForest settings to get notified of updates to the theme.

Thanks for the heads up!

Best,

Thanks for your reply. First of all, I am not at all an expert in either php or wp. But I will try to make the the changes. Or else - I do know whom to turn to :) I have the request-form available.
And - yes, I have read the thread in the forum (from another theme?), but to my knowledge, WP 4.0 handles the interface language in another way than earlier. This can be done directly in the WP dashboard. No need for codes in the config.php anymore. Multilanguage sites have the option to choose within the blog.

FYI: When I open the pot.file in POEdit and validate - this is returned:

"Entries with errors were marked in red in the list. Details of the error will be shown when you select such an entry.» The (red) item is Pages, listed twice.

When I use a plugin to translate directly in WP, the message returned is that there are two different kinds of text-domains in use… The Molithor and Unknown.

I really like the design of your theme. Nearly perfect for our purpose!
Keep up the good work!

Hi there,

The extra titles are located in sticky-posts.php on lines 21, 34 and 77.

Regarding translation, have you reviewed this thread? http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/localization-usage

Let me know if that helps.

_Chris, yes, I mean the extra titles (like featured, next etc).. on the sticky posts turning up randomly at the bottom of the pages: I also have problems solving the translations into norwegian in general. Tried to generate this from the enclosed pot.-file with PoEdit and even with an internal WP Plugin. The first one do not accept the pot-file. The second generates the po/mo-files in the themes language directory - but the language do not change. For the time being I do not have access to the site at one.com. It is past midnight local time. I will check again tomorrow morning and give more feedback if that is of interest. Best to you as well :)
