(and the fix works on the ipad as well)
it is not for the faint of heart as it involves incorporating iScroll (a fairly new scrolling lib) instead of using jscrollpane. i may test this when i ahve down time - i would have to take apart themolitor's theme to make sure i don't have things working against each other. i dunno if i ahve time this week...

test the iscroll on your various ios devices and see how it works:

i'd be curious to hear back from people who ahve access to android devices to see ig it worked there as well.

is there any way to make the scroller bar wider? at least that way the target for tapping will be wider...

Would it be possible to deactivate and remove the scroll pane track and (somehow) make swiping possible - this would be nice.

And I may add, it is impossible to scroll at all on android (no scrollbar appears). I've tested on the asus Transformer, not sure which version of android is used there. This is quite disturbing...

Also, "keyboard" navigation is impossible with this special tablet (coupled to a keyboard) but that's not a problem in fact since it's about 0.000001% of my visitors, and of course (but I expected that since it's a different behavior as the iPad/Pod/Phone) touch navigation doesn't work either on android.

Yeah, that kind of works; but it's not very intuitive, and in fact even if it does theoretically work, I found that I have to tap on it a few times until I find the exact spot where it will work.

Thanks for the response. I think you mean the main scroll on the portfolio pages being scrollable via tapping. Yes that works nicely. I'm referring to the narrow vertical scroll for the non-portfolio pages. I can't get that one to work on the i-pad. Best!-J

You can tap the scroll bar to scroll where you want it to go. I appreciate the feedback though. If that isn't a good enough solution, I'll certainly reevaluating this for a future (free) update.

Same issue here, but I don't think it's because it's too narrow: I think it's just an incompatibility with touch devices (you can very well grab the handle, it just won't move) - and none of the usual ergonomics work (1 and 2-fingers scroll) on any part of the page.

Very cool theme!
One issue (on Post page): Can't seem to (via touch control) move the scroll bar when on the ipad. It might be too narrow to to capture the touch.
Also the width setting for this element seems to be in the markup (or js file) - cant seem to find it.
Is there a fix you can offer? Thanks!-J
