Hi there,

The category you select for the slider is excluded from that post listing on the home page, unless your slider posts are in multiple categories. In which case they'll appear in the post list as well.

If you don't want that to happen, I recommend creating posts specifically for the slider (i.e. they ONLY sit in the slider category you created).

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Thank you, that helped. What about the link from the post underneath the slider? It keeps going to a page that I created that I do not want clicks directed to. There does not appear to be a way to change the link. Thank you.

Hi there,

For the slider, you can customize the link using the "Slider Custom Link" input field in the custom post options section of the post edit screen.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi, When I write a new post on the main page and slider, it links to a webpage that I do not want. It lists a 'permalink', but I can't change it. Is this the normal behavior? I would like to link it to its own page, or when clicked, just display more about it. Can you provide guidance?

Otto
