Sorry, as you mentioned, customizations like this would require additional images and some theme tweaking to achieve.

I would like to have some social icons (specifically twitter, facebook and rss) alongside the searchbar. I've had a play with header.php and the css but I cant seem to figure it out.

I'm not even sure if this is something you would cover under support since it's more of a customisation but I thought no harm in asking.

I also just noticed the searchbar is right in the corner on 1024 wide screens which would complicate this further :/ How about to the left of the search bar or just after the date on the left side?
