Hi there,

You need to create posts (with images uploaded to them) in the category you created. On the demo site home page, each image is an individual post.

On the reading settings page, specify "latest posts" for the home page, which should be the default setting of WordPress (i.e. you didn't need to change the default setting).

Thanks!

Chris

no - this doesn't make any sense at all... i have NO pages now, and have removed the sample post, made a category - same result, no media being displayed. I would think that installing the theme and uploading media would be all that's required...? Obviously not the case.

Hi there,

Do not specify a page for the home page. The theme has a default home page already setup. Just need to specify the category of posts you want to display in the theme options (on the "home" tab).

Thanks!

Chris

same here - cannot get the portfolio to display anything. We have several images loaded and assigned to the "portfolio" page, and this is set as the first page under "Settings > Reading"

It always comes up with the default page - therefore no images showing except the logo... very frustrating and I'm sure this is a simple issue - but it seems so obtuse.

I am certain this is a simple one but I can not figure it out. Trying to get the home page to show the initial gallery. I can set the portfolio to a menu item but not to the home page.
