@mnodland Per my forum notice, I can't provide support for plugin issues since I didn't develop the plugin and I'm not familiar enough with the plugin to troubleshoot the issue. You'll have to use bbpress support to resolve this issue. I will add that the error you're getting is very common among (1) WordPress plugins that aren't developed properly and/or (2) hosting permissions that prevent certain WordPress functions from working.

The Theme does not work - not sure where to start at this point.
gone throught the help section and wiki no luck.

I am posting here because the error references code relating the to theme. I do not get the error when using other themes(works with WordPress Politico 1.0 and various others), only when using Politico 1.1.

I'm a wordpress noob so sorry if this is a "stupid question". Bought the Politico theme yesterday and I have installed it. I also installed the bbpress plugin. When I try to view a bbpress forum, post, or etc i get the error:

"Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in 'MYWEBSITEURL\wp-content\themes\wppolitico\functions.php' on line 48"

Any ideas?
