Hey John,

I'm glad you got it to work. That was going to be my next guess... sometimes with Wordpress you just need to re-upload the image. All CMS's do 'something' with images when they're uploaded to the media manager. Every once in a while you'll hit an odd issue like this.

All in all, glad it worked though!

Best,
Justin

I just looked over the demo site in IE:

http://themes.themolitor.com/wppolitico/

And yes the slider images are coming up I'm totally stumped as to what I'm doing (or not doing) to make this not work. Deep sigh....

Thanks Justin can you send me a link to these demo sites. so I can see if its my computer or the theme. I will admit I this is getting irritating, I just threw up a demo page myself:

http://www.wptest.johncliffordtaylor.com/

image works fine in FF and no dice in IE.

Let me ask you a question when you go to my (clients) page in IE:

http://www.tuy-hoa.org/

are you able to see the slider image displayed?

Thanks for the continued help.

Hey John,

Thanks - you read my mind :) This is odd... I uploaded your image into my test theme and it works in my IE9. The demo theme works as well.

How about when you open the demo theme? Could it be compatibility mode? It's tough for me to troubleshoot since it's showing up for me.

Let me know if there's any other info you can provide. Sorry I haven't been able to nail this down for you.

Thanks,
Justin

Hello I have a wordpress site that has your politico theme running it has been brought to my attention that the site is not displaying in IE with compatibility mode turned on.

URL: http://www.tuy-hoa.org/

What seems to be happening, is that it looks like the site is loading and then the whole screen is blanking out and displaying the browser background color (most of the time its white)

Thank you in advance for your support in resolving this issue promptly.

John
