i deactivated all plugins - nothing happened. After that, i pasted the embed code again to test it out and it worked!
I re-activated all plugins and its still working. I dont know whats the problem but its working. Maybe there were some problems with the plugins maybe making it not possible to display the video or something.. i dont know.

I visited your site and still see plugins active on your site. In order for me to troubleshoot this issue, I need the theme to be as close to a default setup as possible. This requires additional plugins to be deactivated and custom elements removed so that I can rule out customizations as a cause.

Let me know when you have those elements deactivated and I'll take a look.

I have the latest Version of "The Producer" and have the same problem. All Codes are already applied due the latest Version (Updated my Page on 19th Nov 15).

I choosed latest posts and used a Youtube Video embed code:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.utube.com/embed/onBq24rYCPk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

But the page automatically displays this code:

[youtube https://www.utube.com/watch?v=onBq24rYCPk&w=560&h=315

When i go out of the customization and back into it, the iframe changed itself to the link displayed on the page:

[youtube https://www.utube.com/watch?v=onBq24rYCPk&w=560&h=315

What can i do?

figured it out! Jetpack was interfering with the code, just turned off one thing and it works

In the box, "Welcome Video (overrides message)" I pasted again the embed code of a youtube video, but a link to the video on the welcome page still appears instead of the video in itself...

I submitted an update (v100.3.9.2) with the following changes...

- Open include/theme-options.php and change the following on line 221 from this...

'sanitize_callback' => 'themolitor_sanitize_text',

...to this...

sanitize_callback' => 'wp_kses_post',

...then change the version number at the top of style.css to 100.3.9.2.

The video doesn't appear on my website, just numbers and letters (not the video as it appears on that forum)

I made a test with the trailer of the last James Bond. Here is the code:

The embed code works as a video in a "normal article", but, the thing is that if I insert the embed code as a welcome video on the welcome page that appears :

despite I insert the embed code. That means the "welcome video" blank space you created on the Producer theme automatically convert the embed code to a link...which is completely different from the original purpose, which was, if I'm correct, having the possibility to publish a welcome video directly on the welcome page...

Hi there,

Static pages do not support a video in the header area. That would require custom development as it is not a feature of the theme.

Regarding the welcome page, can you provide the video embed code you're using on the Customize page?

Hi there,

I was obliged to re-install the theme since I cannot come back to the previous set up.

I still wish to publish a welcome page with a video. I entered an embed video code in the section "welcome video", then I checked "latest posts", but what appears is just the youtube adress instead of the video. I definitely don't want to modify anything on function.php since last time it didnt't work when I pasted what is written above.
So please update the producer version so that the box for welcome video will work or help me to fix that problem.

Did you try reverting to the previous setup you had? In other words, make sure the issue isn't caused by the code/markup you're trying to use on the welcome page.
