Hey there, to answer your questions:

1) No you cannot - it links to Posts by default
2) Yes - go to Settings > Discussion and turn off comments... or turn it off on individual posts/pages. There is a Screen Options section (upper portion) > Find Discussion > Check that off > Scroll down below your WYSIWYG Editor > Un-check allow comments
3) In your CSS file find this:

.share span {
margin-right: 15px;
display: none;
}

I added the "display: none;" - which will remove that section.

That did the trick. I was wondering about the size but never tried to resize them. Thanks.

Couple more questions. Can I link from a slider photo to a page instead of a post? And How can I make it so no one can leave comments on my sight? (been getting some vulgar ones) Oh and I want to get rid of the twitter and facebook links, would I have to go into the code to remove those or is there a setting I can filp?

Hey there! Your images are WAY too big for the slider! Try cropping them down to about 560 x 290 px and re-uploading :)

You can also use Wordpress Media Manager to re-size them, but need to then re-assign it to the Post. That should do it!
