So it looks like your logo is setup properly. With that said, you may need to follow the same method other users with similar hosting issues required:

Instead of inserting the logo on top of the header via Option Tree—which wasn't working,
I opened the "wppolitico.zip" on my desktop and found the the file "header_bg.jpg" in the images folder. I used PhotoShop to add my logo into the original "header_bg.jpg" file and then recompressed the new folder to .zip. I had to deactivate the theme, delete it and then upload my new modified "wppolitico.zip"

If you continue to have trouble...

You'll need to contact your hosting provider as this is not a theme issue and has to do with the way your hosting/server is configured as you know. Let them know you're trying to use the "getimagesize()" PHP function.

Hey there,

I've heard others having problems with 1and1.com, but I've never heard of the php.ini file. You should be able to upload your logo with no issues through the Option Tree plugin.

Have you followed the Help files / videos to get that setup? There should be no issues if you follow that properly.

I contacted my host (1and1.com) and they informed me that I need to create a php.ini file and upload it. That was the extent of the support they offer.... I am hoping for you to provide me with the necessary PHP and tell me where to put so that I can get the logo to display.
