Hi there,

The description field is a standard/default option in WordPress. The PrettyPhoto lightbox system is not a standard/default feature (I developed it into the theme), so not everything is utilized from the media edit screen.

Currently the title of the image is what populates the description area, so just append the photographer name to the image title (i.e. Image Title - Photographer Name).

Hello,

i would like to know if there is a way to get the description of the photo appearing once we click on a photo in the Gallery.
I inserted the credits of the photographer in the "description" field of all the photos of my gallery, but it doesn't appear anywhere, not even when i click on the photo.
Is there a way to change that ?
Otherwise i don't see what is the purpose of the "description" field in the media library...
