Hi there,

Thanks for following up!

The short links appear to be a new feature. That wasn't available when I developed theme, but I'll be sure to look into it :-)

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

I figured it out!
It only works with absolute links. It doesn't work with short links!
http://domain/path/pic.jpg   -> works
http://domain/?ID35     --> doesn't work

That's ok for me but it would be nice if the short links to uploaded media would work also. It is easy to select and copy paste the short link.

I'm still trying things out on localhost so I cannot send you a link, sorry!

Regards,
Mario

Hi there,

Regarding the home page, you can either use the default home page that displays posts on a map, or you can select a static page to display on the home page. If you assign a static page and have a background image assigned for that page, it will display on the home page.

Regarding post pages, yes, if you don't have any location data associated with the post and have a background image assigned, it will display a background image instead of a map on that post page.

Do you have a link to the page where you're having an issue? I'll check it out.

Best,

Chris

Hi,

I can't seem to get a photo in the background of any of my pages. I'm sure I'm overlooking the obvious (again)...but what?

Am I right to say that when I have no lat/long data and also no adress data but just a link to a picture than that picture should be in the background of my page (ea home page) no?

As for the link I have just copy paste the short link from one of the uploaded media (pic) files.

But the background stays blanc?

Regards,
Mario
