Try adding the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

}

Pasted the link you mentioned to "Custom Background URL" but that didn't do what I want (for it to look like the posts page). Is there another way this should be done to achieve the beautiful page effect?

Hi there,

Your background image is located here: http://www.thomaskeily.com/wp-content/themes/wpnovelist/images/book_bg.jpg

The other pages do not have a background image applied.

Where can I find the background image that is used for the posts and where is the one that is used for the other pages?

This way I could easily have them all look like the posts page, I reckon? :-)

Hi there,

The book design/layout currently only applies to category/post listings.

It's really just a background image. Posts and individual pages have centered title/meta data, which would look bad sitting above a background like that.

Hi there,

It looks like you have a static page assigned for your home page. To have your home page look like the demo, you'll want to use the 'latest posts' option for your home page settings.
