Hi there,

1. The map is generated only by posts because the WordPress system doesn't provide an effective way to display pages with posts. This makes sense because there's no way to determine which pages should appear and which should not appear on the map as there is no category system for pages.

2. This is possible, but goes beyond the level of support I can provide here in the forums. For requests like this, please use this form: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris;

I have a question regarding the site...

My wife and I are travellers, we have been on the road for a few years and we will still be for the next few years and I want to use it for two things:

- a blog (text and some pictures) and this is coupled to a feedburner with followers that get automatically an e-mail everytime I do a blog entry
- individual pages with full width pictures that are marked on the map on the homepage...

Now; this gives me some problems.... ;-)

Either I use the blog for the blablabla and I use the posts as your template is intended to be used. But with this option my followers will get a massive amount of mails in the following days since I will need to add a lot of pictures in a lot of places from the last years of travelling. And the second problem with this is that the blog/post function is not a full width page... I want to be able to use high resolution images. So not an option for me!

Or I could use the page function, which is perfect for me.... except that even when I use a marker and lat/lon it doesn't show on the map. So I guess it is only possible to add markers to the map (homepage) with a 'post' and not with a 'page'?

So the solution for me would be:

- being able to use a fullwidth 'page' with a marker on the map (would be my best option!!!! ;-))
- or being able to have a fullwidth 'post/blog' page instead of the one on the left side of the page like it is now...

PLEASE pretty PLEASE.... ;-)

Seb
