Hi there,

With the way this theme is structured and laid out, the password protection feature does not apply to the gallery section.

The WordPress password feature only works on content that is output from the text area of the page where you enter stuff from the text box in the editor. This theme has it's own gallery system that automatically creates a gallery of your images. As a result, it is not output from the normal content section.

You might be able to find a plugin that password protects the entire page. If you have trouble finding a solution for this, you can submit a request here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Thanks!

Chris

I am trying to make one of my pages, which is a photo gallery, password protected. For some reason I can't get it to work. I've tried putting the photo's into the page as a gallery, also individually and I've tried making them into posts and putting the posts into the same category as the page, while leaving the page itself blank.

Sometimes I can get the password protection to work but then the pictures don't show up.
Or the pictures show up but the password protection doesn't work.

The different Templates seem to give different problems. I would like to use the Masonry Template...

Please let me know if there is a way to make a password protected gallery.

Thanks!
