Hi there,

Are you using WordPress 4.1?

The class names I'm referring to is something 100% generated by WordPress. If you don't have any plugins installed, that leads me to think something is wrong with your WordPress installation. I can't think of what else might be causing this as I've never seen an issue with class names like this.

Since this is something generated by WordPress, I can't think of anything to change within the theme to alter this behavior. My best suggestion is to contact your hosting provider to find out if there's anything unique about your WordPress installation or if there's anything about the way it was installed/setup.

Hope that helps some and makes sense.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the timely reply!

Unfortunately following up wouldn't fix the issue (1)

I have updated the theme, disabled and re-enabled it.

There are no currently active or even installed plugins.

It seems the problem lies somewhere else.

I also saw something else - footer text not displaying, ie:

Site by THE MOLITOR

which is the default one isn't showing as well as the rss icon, even when enabled.

Can you look into the issue(s) again please.

Thanks in advance,
K

Hi there,

I noticed you're running version 1.3.3. The latest version 1.3.4, so I recommend updating. For more info, please review this FAQ thread: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/faq-how-do-i-update-my-theme

1. Something is off with the way your site is applying the page template class names to the body tag. It's adding the following:

page-template-producer page-template-page-static page-template-producerpage-static-php

That's totally wrong and not something the theme is doing. It should look like this...

page-template page-template-page-static-php

Notice how your site is adding "-producer" to the class names, which is causing issues. My best suggestion is to check this after you update and disable all plugins.

2. The height of the bottom panel equals the height of the browser window. The widget space is hard coded to display 4 widgets. Making changes to this behavior requires custom code to achieve, so I'll have to ask that you submit a request here: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

First of all, good job on The Producer - it looks great!

I am encountering an issue or two so far though, as follows:

1. the page templates don't seem to work appropriately:
in the demo there are four templates as they are in wp back end;
the thing is whatever page I try to create it sticks to default
on the front end even if i choose else - ie 'static wide',
so both 'wide' and 'static' effects are not properly activated;

2. this is a minor issue re: live widgets editor:
the height of the bottom panel is huge (even if there are no active widgets),
I have played around customizing the css a bit and made it look ok
but in terms of modifying the template without sacrificing its integrity
which div/containers' css would you recommend modifying to reduce its height?
also is four columns the only layout option for the bottom?

link here: http://www.eyefullmovie.com/

Thanks for your help in advance!

Cheers
